David Millar broke the course record on his way to an impressive win at the Chronos des Nations time trial. This caps off a string of strong time trial performances including a silver medal at the world championships and a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games.
David Millar flew the Union Jack with pride down under, putting in a remarkable performance in the world championship time trial and taking home the silver medal. As well, his teammate in argyle David Zabriskie put in a strong result with 8th.
