Vuelta a Chihuahua stage 7: Circuito Chihuahua

The final stage of the Vuelta a Chihuahua is one for the spectators. The 14-lap circuit race is 84 km long and runs through the streets of Chihuahua. Today’s stages starts at 9:00 and will finish between 10:49-11:00.

Today’s 127.4 km stage is practically all down hill into Chihuahua. Stage 6 of the Vuelta a Chihuahua will be a fast one for the sprinters. Today’s stages starts at 10:04 and will finish between 13:03-13:22.

Stage 5 of the Vuelta a Chihuahua is rolling to downhill into the center of Cuauhtemoc. The 152.8 km stage includes three intermediate sprint and three mountain points lines. Today’s stages starts at 10:06 and will finish between 13:51-14:14.

Today’s sharply rolling 18.9 km individual time trial along the Sierra Tarahumara range will test the riders’ already weary legs. The first rider starts at 12:00 and the last rider is expected to finish between 14:35 and 14:51.

Short post-race summary from DS Johnny Weltz Today was good for us. Pat was in a long breakaway and took the mountain jersey. Tom Peterson was 4th on the stage (unofficially) and would normally take over the Best Young Rider classification. Please stay tuned for a full report, results and photos!
