With a lead-out from Team Garmin-Chipotle H3O, Julian Dean again found himself near the front of today’s final massive sprint. Our favorite “Kiwi Guy” finished 9th in the fast final with Martijn Maaskant close behind in 17th. There were no major changes to GC.

Winding it up with all the big hitters, Julian Dean finished 9th in the final run for the finish in Narbonne. Christian Vande Velde is still holding strong to third while little changed in the overall classification.

Team Garmin-Chipotle H3O tightly surrounded Christian Vande Velde throughout the stage, keeping him close to the front and out of trouble.
