Skirting the Haute-Pyrénées and heading east, today’s Tour stage was relatively uneventful. Team Garmin-Chipotle H3O tightly surrounded Christian Vande Velde throughout the stage, keeping him close to the front and out of trouble. Christian (pictured above with Evans) finished the stage 19th in the main peloton. There were no major changes in the overall classification.
