Race report: Vuelta a España, stage 1

The third Grand Tour of the 2012 season started in Spain with a team time trial. Director Sportif Bingen Fernandez sent this report.

First day in Iruña/Pamplona with a nice parcour in the old city where the running of the bulls pass every single year.

We were the third team starting so we took avantage of this and used the closed circuit to warm-up.

A few minutes later the guys were on the rollers doing their specifics warm up and 15 minutes before they were off to the start.

All was good until a roundabout. With this crash we lost some time but thankfully the guys are ok.

Tomorrow, another day….. as always we are not going to stop trying!
