Race report: Thor smashes the competition – Tour de Suisse, stage 4
“Today we started with the possibility to win and we went for it,” said DS Bingen Fernandez.
“After an early break of three riders the teams interested in a sprint finish started riding and we put Bobridge riding on the front.
“In the last kilometers we had Christian, Heinrich, Ryder and Tommy D all protecting Thor.”
“In the end after a cardiac sprint Thor beat Sagan,” said Fernandez. “The team work was fantastic.”
”It was a great day and the team worked exceptionally hard for the victory. We’re very excited to see the World Champion cross the line first,” DS Robby Ketchell echoed.
