Hesjedal, Pooley win Cyclingnews reader poll awards

The voting is finished and two Garmin-Cervélo riders, Ryder Hesjedal and Emma Pooley, each finished first in the recent Cyclingnews 2010 reader poll.

Hesjedal won the Most Improved Rider award for his breakthrough year, topped by his amazing seventh place in the Tour de France.

Pooley won the Female Road Rider of the Year award, due to her season-long win list. However, it was likely her world championship time trial win that sealed the deal.
