Vuelta a Espana roster

Team Garmin-Transitions today announced its 2010 Vuelta roster. The squad features Christian Vande Velde, who will return to racing for the first time since breaking three ribs and crashing out of the Tour de France, along with Tyler Farrar, who recently won the Vattenfall Cyclassics after coming back from a broken wrist also suffered at the Tour. David Millar returns to racing action as well, riding his third Grand Tour of the season along with Julian Dean, while Michel Kreder and Tom Peterson will compete in the first of their Grand Tour careers.

    Stacked squad w/ VdV, DZ, Millar, Farrar, Dean and Danielson. I’ll be wearing my VdV and DZ shirts (not at the same time…) and pulling for stage wins, a podium by TD or DZ if his knee is healed up and VdV getting in some miles for next year. In addition to wearing those shirts, I’ll also be riding my Cervelo…looking for big things next year.
