Race report: Tour of California, stage 1
Team Garmin-Transitions began the Tour of California with Robbie Hunter fighting for a field sprint win. More importantly, all of the Argyle Armada came through the crash-tastic finale unscathed.
“I’m happy for now,” said Hunter about the rough-and-tumble field sprint. “It’s important to see that I’m up there and fighting none-the-less. The team rode great and the crowds were massive! Should be a good week.”
