Team Garmin-Transitions announces Giro d'Italia roster

May 5, 2010 – Boulder, CO – Team Garmin-Transitions, the leading professional cycling team dedicated to ethical sporting and developing the next generation of cycling champions, today unveiled its much-anticipated roster for the 2010 Giro d’Italia.

The roster features Christian Vande Velde, eighth in the 2009 Tour de France after breaking seven bones, including five vertebra, in last year’s Giro d’Italia; David Millar, who recently won the individual time trial at Criterium International as well as the overall at Three Days of DePanne; sprint sensation Tyler Farrar; and Jack Bobridge, World U-23 time trial champion.

Team Garmin-Transitions will be directed by Sport Directors Matthew White and Lionel Marie.

    Super stoked for you guys in this years Giro. Hopes for Millar to win the opening TT, a stage win or 2 for Tyler, a good spot on the GC for Christian and maybe the Maglia Rosa for a couples days (maybe a podium finish) and hands down I know you guys are winning the TTT.
