Not that I want to take anyone's job, but how do you get to be a wrench for a professional team?

Hey will i've got a question...why do some of the mavic wheels (especially the comete) have a metal rim instead of a "full carbon" disc / wheel what advantages do a metal rim offer that a "carbon rim" cannot??

thanks

Wow! Thanks for the response! I was expecting a response, but not of that caliber.

I'm in the wheel market and have been doing a lot of research trying to find the best all around wheel for the money. Mavic is on the list, so thanks for your list above.

One more question if I may. Why use the Cosmic Elite for training when the Ksyrium Elites weigh 350 grams less and the SL's weigh 415 grams less? Would this have to do with aerodynamics with the 30mm rim vs. the 22/25mm rim of the SL, for example? Just curious.

Thanks again. That made my morning.
