Tour Down Under, stage 4

Director’s Report from Matt White:

It was another short aggressive day. After the all-day break was reeled in the race became very tense as the gail-force winds increased and the course ventured into very exposed landscapes.

In a crazy sprint our renowned lead-out man Julian Dean lost our sprinter Robbie Hunter in the confusion but still managed to finish in sixth place.

Tomorrow is the crunch stage with two times up the Willunga climb. The field also knows that to stop the sprinters from winning this tour the hammer really has to go down. So I am expecting more of the same. Aggressive racing from kilometer one.

With Robbie and Julian still on bunch time the best option for us is a 40-50 rider sprint and without the likes of our current leader Greipel.
