Team Garmin-Transitions, the leading professional cycling team dedicated to ethical sporting and developing the next generation of champions, welcomes Brazilian Murilo Fischer to its 2010 roster and lead-out train for Tyler Farrar.

Fischer will work alongside Julian Dean and Robbie Hunter to strengthen the team’s lead out train for Farrar, and will himself be on the hunt for individual stage victories. Fischer comes with much ProTour experience, racing the past three years with the Italian Liquigas team. He has previously ridden for teams such as Domina Vacanze and Naturino-Sapore di Mare. In his time racing for Italian teams he has racked up some impressive sprint victories, including the Giro del Piemonte in 2005.

“Murilo is a great sprinter and he’s enthusiastic about helping Tyler win more in 2010,” said Jonathan Vaughters, CEO, Slipstream Sports. “He adds a lot of experience to the team and will be able to work with Julian and Robbie to improve Tyler’s lead outs.”
