A true team effort finished off the Jayco Herald Sun Tour for Team Garmin-Slipstream, delivering race leader Bradley Wiggins to the final finish line for the overall win. The former race leader, teammate Chris Sutton could have swapped spots with Wiggo via the bonus seconds on offer, but played the role of teammate to perfection.
As well Tom Peterson clinched the final king of the mountains jersey for the race, while the team as a whole won the team classification.

Well! After a successful week we finished off by just controlling the stage and not letting the GC change. Wiggo was the strongest rider in the tour and Cj showed respect for the work the team and Wiggo did for him earlier in the week by not challenging Wiggo for bonuses seconds today.
