It was the typical promenade to Madrid and then the some fast laps before a bunch sprint to finish up the final Grand Tour of the season.
We didn’t have much to do today so it was up to the guys to finish the Vuelta in good condition — s [...]

Vuelta a Espana, stage 16

Director’s report from Johnny Weltz:
Today didn’t turn out to be the big cycling stage that some thought. One rider escaped after 15km and no one seems too bothered to chase. He got 11 minutes before there was any chase on, but it was easy to control, so he stayed out there until 15 km [...]

Vuelta a Espana, Stage 14

Director’s report from Johnny Weltz:
Today was the last of the three mountain top finishes. Everybody was tired but still the stage went from fast very start — a 49km per hour average! Our plan was to get Dan Martin into the right break as there was a good chance it would last. He [...]
