Zabriskie, Friedman put it all on the line – US Pro road race

Team Garmin-Slipstream’s now four-time US Pro time trial champion, David Zabriskie, put his specialty to work in Sunday’s US Pro road race championship — breaking away on a solo effort and putting nearly a five minute gap on the field, holding it until 86km to go in the race. Teammate Mike Friedman also put in his own attack, with both riders animating the race.

    It looked like Danny and Jason were going to bridge up but just had too many passengers in that group. Great effort boys, it didn’t go unnoticed.
