You guys did one helluva job. A bunch of us went up that same road up to Lagunas de Neila from Quintanar last summer and by the end our quads were screaming (not to mention the crap pavement in the middle part of the climb.) It was nice to see Tom put a little bit of fear into Valverde…and if the rumoured deal with that guy from Pinto doesn’t work out, Xavi Tondo might make an interesting possibility….

Great ride @ Burgos. Looking forward to cheering you & the rest of the Garmin team on at the Vuelta. I also liked the photos of Mt. Evans you posted on your web page. It’s a race I ride every year. This year I was only 23 min slower than Tom.

excellent race tommy… way to show valverde what a rider who isn’t on the juice can do, although i think you already proved it by racing in the giro where he could not! salud!
