Director’s report from Lionel Marie:
Last stage and a last big pleasure with the team! A very big group (28 guys) for the break but also with Timmy Duggan!
The last climb with 40 km to go included a 10km climb with a 10% average gradient. Timmy was alone after five kilometers! But on top Clement came back so the two were together or the descent until 10km to go.
They arrived and attacked in last kilometer. Timmy, with lot of intelligence put, pressure on Clement but he was the stronger one today. Still a big second place result!
Timmy is coming back guys !!!
David Millar was also very strong today, following without problems. So this was a great week before the Tour. See you guys soon! You should be happy and proud.

Tremendous team performance which bodes well for the Tour.
Timmy is going well, and let’s not forget Tyler over in Zeeland.
David is clearly in the form of his life and Brad played games with the British domestic “elite”, let’s hope we can see the British Champs jersey with a bit of Argyle again.
congrats to the team and tim on a great ride. what a great comeback ride!
YAY lets hope we’ll have this kind of rae winning form in the tour!!!
Well done Garmin, spectacular finish, great individual and team results. Also, good move David – the one where you congratulated Alejandro Valverde – Eurosport captured the moment perfectly.
All the best, G
What fun watching you race on Versus yesterday. Great job. Marsha
