Looked to me that he had road handlebars with clip ons, was that right?
Congratulations David – good effort from what I saw on Europsport.

très bon prologue, on espére le voir ds les premières places par la suite. Bon chance
Yes, impressive. Was there any particular reason for using a road bike and no disc wheel?
SUPER RIDE DAVE !
Just wondered about the ” SPECIALISED ” Shoe covers ? Hope the Pearl Izumi don`t get upset.. Have just caught todays (Monday) Stage end via the Internet …What a FANTASTIC Last few KM ATTACK ! Reminded me of last years Tour of California when Levi was rocked ! Thanks for the Show proud to wear your ARGYLE As allways in Lincolnshire and Great supporting job from the Team …..Anthony C
and Thanks Svein for the kit enjoy the second TT More my friend !
Great effort today David. Curious why the road-bike bars for Stage 1. Still on a DA I imagine? Most everyone had full TT package with disk rear, David stuck out (not uncommon for the armada) with the bars and the more conservative rear wheel. Just curious the strategy choice/tradeoff made.
