Wiggins’ Giro garnering attention

Bradley Wiggins - Giro d'Italia, stage 5 One of Team Garmin-Slipstream’s newest members, Great Britain’s Bradley Wiggins, is turning heads at the Giro d’Italia this year. While it may not be surprising to some that he is the best-placed rider in the general classification on the team, especially after team captain Christian Vande Velde crashed out of the race in stage 3, the fact that he is less than five minutes off the lead and battling in the lead group during major climbing stages is noteworthy.

Both Cyclingnews and VeloNews took notice, featuring Wiggins’ accomplishments and how he has achieved them.
