Farrar close again on strange stage – Giro, stage 9

Race report from Tyler Farrar

Today was a bizarre stage. The circuit was very dangerous and everyone decided we would not race; and then suddenly half the teams said they were doing the sprint! We did everything we could to set up the the last kilometers, the guys were amazing!

Tyler Farrar - Giro d'Itala, stage 9

Unfortunately once again I was close, but not quite there for the win. Everyone is putting in such fantastic work for me, hopefully we will get one of these last few sprint stages!

Bradley Wiggins - Giro d'Itala, stage 9 Wiggo doing a hard turn on the front for Farrar.

Tyler Farrar - Giro d'Itala, stage 9 Farrar right in the mix again at the end.

Keep plugging Tyler, you’ve got the speed and once you get the timing and positioning down pat, there’ll be no stopping you!
