Euser injured in crash while training, recovering in Spain

Team Garmin-Slipstream’s Lucas Euser was involved in an accident with a car while riding in Carretera de Amer yesterday. He sustained two broken ribs and a shattered patella (knee cap.) He underwent surgery today on his patella and is currently recovering at a local hospital. The accident is under investigation by local police. Our thoughts are with Lucas, and we will keep you posted on his recovery.
