Volta ao Algarve stage 1: Albufeira>Faro

The 34th edition of the Volta ao Algarve kicks off today with a relatively rolling 164.6 km stage. The race hits its first climb after 42 km, the category 2 Coelho. The peloton will ascend one other minor category 3 climb before finishing in Faro.

Stage 1 is scheduled to start at 11:00 and finish between 14:44-15:06.
