Garmin-Slipstream capped off the longest and hardest stage of the Tour Mediterranean today by ushering Dan Martin (above in red) to a solid 13th place atop the final Mt Faron climb. His hard-fought finish on the infamously short but steep climb allowed Dan to take home the red Best Young Rider jersey of this year’s Tour Med.
Young Dan also graced the final podium, finishing an impressive third overall. Rounding out Garmin-Slipstream’s top 20 were Danny Pate in 5th and David Millar (above) in 15th overall.
