Langkawi stage 4: ‘Relative’ calm before Genting Highlands

Chris Sutton, Tour of Langkawi stage 4
Garmin-Slipstream kept things cool and controlled (pic’d below right) throughout today’s relatively uneventful 221 km stage 4 of the 2009 Tour of Langkawi. The six-man crew are saving their legs for tomorrow’s decisive stage, which finishes on the legendary Genting Highlands climb. There they hope to secure the team’s place on the final podium.

Timmy Duggan, Tour of Langkawi stage 4 Current team leader Chris Sutton did crash coming into the finish (pic’d above – ouch!). Amazingly he and every one around him survived relatively unscathed. Since he went down within the last three kilometers, he received the same time as the bunch.
