Napa Valley Register: Cycling star shares his world

The Napa Valley Register features Lucas Euser and his presentation as “Speaker of the Month” at the Napa City-County Library.

“By the end of high school, I was committed to the bike and knew that was my future, my sport,” Lucas said. “But I didn’t know if an actual future in it, a lucrative deal, so I went to Cal Poly and joined the Cal Poly Wheelmen. That motivated me to go to bigger and better races and, sure enough, I got hooked up with the right people and in 2005, my junior year, I landed my first pro contract with Webcor out of (Redwood City).”
