We’re back in Qatar, where there’s been no change in the landscape really. Just skyscrapers all around. The course for the Tour of Qatar also hasn’t changed much either. Flat with strong chance of regular crosswinds.
We’re going for broke in the opening team time trial. We worked quite a bit on that during the Girona camp. Plus we have Bradley, a super specialist in the discipline. So the odds are in our favor. For the overall, we have our Dutch crosswind specialists. There’s Martijn and you’ll want to keep your eyes on our new sprinter Hans Dekker.
Keep in mind that the field for this year’s race is probably the strongest ever in the history of Qatar.
