Despite being the last race in a long season, today’s Giro di Lombardia was a fast and furious 242 km haul to the end. The first hour of the race was ridden at a leg breaking pace of nearly 47 kph. Both Lucas Euser (above front) and Tom Danielson (third back) hung on to wrap up their seasons in Como as two of only 94 finishers. Italian Damiano Cunego won the race for the third time in five years.
