Steven, congrats on a great ride. You could make several really really good teams from the riders you beat today.
I’m hoping this race proved you belong on next year’s TdF squad.
Cozza, great ride! Just 1′40″ down from the winner and ahead of Boonen and Freire to name a few. Nice work! See, the mustache was causing a lot of drag! You saved at least a second and a half without it over the 260km
Best of luck to you and the whole Argyle crew finishing this year and next year. Let’s put Christian VdV on the top podium spot next year at the TdF.
Congrats to Steve! Go Argyle!
Thanks boys! It’s been a fantastic season watching you do it the right way. Cheers.
Way to go guys! Wow - about half the guys in the field DNF’d. I’m impressed. What a fantastic season!
Cozza, you are the man! It’s going to be so exciting to watch you over the next few years … the whole Garmin team, actually, with so many great young riders. You guys totally bring the love and that’s what makes this sport the best in the world.
Great to see Steven do so well today! Also good to see Julian, Tyler, and Lucas! Lucas said they’d animate the race and it was fun to watch. Good stuff from our guys and great lessons learned for next year!
Is Ryder still part of the Argyle Armada? No reports about him since the Olympics?
Great to see Steven animating and getting every ounce of experience, nice write-up at VeloNews. Fantastic energy all year long from you guys, I love it!
Really awesome — fantastic ride for Cozza and the rest of the guys. Thanks for representin’!
