With Team Garmin-Chipotle H3O effectively controlling today’s stage 6 at the Tour of Missouri, Christian Vande Velde finished with the front group and held on to the yellow leader’s jersey. Tyler Farrar finished 6th in the final sprint into St. Charles. Tom Danielson also finished in the front group and held on to his 5th place in the overall classification.
Tour of Missouri race leader leader Christian and Team Garmin-Chipotle H3O will remain vigilant for tomorrow’s final stage in St. Louis. “Our position is to hold the peloton at bay, to make sure there is nothing dangerous that goes up the road tomorrow,” he said after the finish today.

Go Garmin! It was great watching you guys put the thumb on it today. Keep VDV upright tomorrow and one eye on Rogers, and this race is in the bag. VDV, you’re looking mighty fine in yellow. You’ll look even better in it next July.
