In a near repeat performance of yesterday’s stage, today’s Tour of Britain stage 5 had a very similar finish with Edval Boasson Hagen taking his second win with Julian Dean finishing 5th on the stage and second in the field sprint just behind Victor Hugo Pena. Dan Martin also finished in the first chase group, enabling him to maintain his overall position.

Just want to Thank Matt White and all the Team for being so welcoming Yesterday in The Yorkshire Stage . The best Dressed Fan in Britain Matt said and welcomed me onto the Team Bus. Only in our Sport and this superb “Family like ” Team could a Fan be so close to the Top men. And the stage you rode was Superb ! Dan the Man attacking supported by a dedicated Team and Julian so close again ! Thanks for the Autographs but more thanks for making my Day VERY SPECIAL !
