Mike Friedman riding with Madison partner Bobby Lea competed in the fast 50 km Madison today in the Laoshan Velodrome in Beijing. The 200-lap race included sixteen sprints. The Americans started out hot finishing second in the second sprint and first in the third sprint before losing ground on the field.

Making his Olympic debut, Mike “Meatball” Friedman (USA) will be competing today in the 50 km Madison race at the Laoshan Cycling Complex in Beijing, China.
The race is scheduled to run from 17:30-18:25 Beijing Time.

After a day of recovery, stage 5 eases the riders back into the hills with a couple of lesser climbs and a 186 km long course.
Today’s stage starts at 12:45 and finishes at 17:20.

The 41st edition of the Tour du Limousin starts with the shortest, easiest stage of the four day race. The 166 km course does however include a short climb - le Maupuy - that the riders will climb by both sides before finishing in Gueret.
Today’s stage starts at 12:30 and finishes between 16:16-16:39.
