Tour of Utah stage 1: Sanpete>Nephi

The opening stage of the 2008 Tour of Utah is a 101-mile long road race on flat to rolling terrain and includes just 4,851 ft of climbing and the Hill Top climb on Highway 89.

Today’s stage starts at 10:00 and finishes around 13:36.

Hello Christopher - Typically we post final rosters no more than five days out from the event. There are just too many variables - crashes, illness, relative fitness, etc - that impact the final rider selection for races. And as such, rosters can change up until the day before the event. So Utah won’t be up until around Aug 10…but stay tuned.

Hopefully DZ will make an appearance. It would be great to see him ride his home roads sporting the sweet stache.

Christopher, if you go to the Tour of Utah website, they have a tentative roster for all teams.

Very cool to see Jason Donald win the Longmont Prospect Criterium yesterday, showing fine form for the Tour of Utah.
