The Olympic time trial is 47.3 km long and consists of one circuit of a 23.5 km loop and one circuit of a 23.8 km loop. A total of 39 riders will participate with the first rider starting at 13:30 Beijing Time and the last finishing at 17:10. All the riders go off in 1′30″ intervals.
The Team Garmin-Chipotle H3O riders who will be representing their respective countries in the individual time trial are Ryder Hesjedal, Canada and David Zabriskie, USA.
Start times for your favorite burrito boys are:
14:24:30 - Ryder Hesjedal
14:42:00 - David Zabriskie

I guess those start times are local Beijing time. Hopefully NBC will cover the race in its entirety, sometime 12-15 hours later…

Hey, let us know about the air quality; would you please? That has to be a huge factor.
The video is streamed online of the events live, then highlights are posted. It would be nice if NBC did not lock the rights up totally and the public was not at the mercy of the big network that decides what events are sutable for us to watch. Let us know about the airquality when you are out of Chinese airspace, I would hate any riders, coaches, mechanics, ect being imprisoned in China for being critical of the enviroment and the Governments lack of care for the health of the people or the planet.
