The argyle podium from left: Tom Peterson, Kirk Carlsen and Peter Stetina.
Today’s U23 National had a decisively argyle flair with a clean sweep of the podium. VMG/Felt’s Kirk Carlsen took top honors, followed by his VMG/Felt teammate and Team Garmin-Chipotle H30 stagiere Peter Stetina in second, with Team Garmin-Chipotle rider Tom Peterson finishing 3rd. Behind the scenes, this is also a significant accomplishment for the team’s U.S. and U23 Directeur Sportif Chann McCrae.
