stuff.co.nz talks to Kiwi cyclist Julian Dean about his preparedness for the Olympic road race, which kicks off events on Saturday, August 9.
From the article: “My condition and my form came good in the last week and I was good on the climbs in the last week (the Tour de France) and probably climbing at a level I hadn’t climbed at ever,” Dean said. “In terms of getting to my peak physical condition and then ready for a course like Beijing, I think I’ve never been more ready.”
