With a lead-out from Team Garmin-Chipotle H3O, Julian Dean again found himself near the front of today’s final massive sprint. Our favorite “Kiwi Guy” finished 9th in the fast final with Martijn Maaskant close behind in 17th. There were no major changes to GC.

Tomorrow the race heads into Provence on its way to the Hautes-Alpes. It will be the last transition stage before the race returns to the mountains on Sunday where the riders will face the hors categorie Col Agnel before dropping into Italy.
