Team Garmin-Chipotle riders are recording the stages of the 2008 Tour de France with their Garmin Edge 705s for all you data hungry fans out there. Each day we will feature one rider and his data.
Stage 12 is a fast rolling to downhill stage with but one minor category 4 speed bump – the Col du Camperie. A relatively short stage at 168.5 km, today is made for the classic sprinters.
This fast stage saw Julian Dean battling it out for position in the final meters of the mass sprint in Narbonne. ‘Kiwi Guy’ flew up the middle but was then boxed in for the finale where he finished 9th on the stage.
