Overview:
Team Garmin-Chipotle riders are recording the stages of the 2008 Tour de France with their Garmin Edge 705s for all you data hungry fans out there. Each day, we will feature one rider and his data.

A rolling to flat transition stage that heads south away from the Massif Central towards the Pyrénées, today’s course starts out with four lesser climbs as it heads downhill towards Toulouse. There are one category 4 and three category 3 climbs that include: Côte de Loupiac (333m), Côte de Macarou (512m), Côte de la Guionie (583m) and the Côte du Port de la Besse (423m).

On this miserably wet stage, Julian Dean remains safely tucked in the peloton for all but the final few kilometers, where he winds it up for a 19th place finish in the mass sprint.
