From the article: Hesjedal spotted a Canadian flag hanging from the balcony of a farmhouse yesterday during the 232-kilometre fifth stage from Cholet to Chateauroux. “That was cool,” Hesjedal, only the fourth Canadian ever to ride the Tour, said in a telephone interview following the fifth stage. “They (Canadian fans) are out there.”
