CyclingWeekly: Millar still aiming for yellow

CyclingWeekly talks to David Millar about his stage 4 time trial performance and his goal to grab the coveted yellow jersey this week. He is aiming for Thursday’s stage 6 that finishes on a climb up to Super-Besse.

“I’m climbing really well at the moment, so it’s going to make it interesting. That’s going to be my next physical challenge. We’ll see what happens in the days ahead but I think I’m going to be better than anyone has ever seen me before.”

JV and Robbie – Great job in reporting on Millar’s TT ride from the team car. This is just what the sport needs. It promotes transparency and gave us a great insight into the inner workings of the team.

How about a short segment at the post-stage team dinner table. You don’t have to give away any secrets but it would be great for the fans to show your human sides.
