Hot off his win at the Route du Sud, young Dan Martin continued to demonstrate his talents at today’s Irish national road championships in Midleton, Co. Cork. Dan was the man throughout the day, making all the breaks and then finally attacking on the long Saleen climb and soloing to victory, winning by more than three minutes. Dan also won the U23 national title and will soon be sporting an Irish version of the new Team Garmin-Chipotle kit.

Way to go Dan. Just another reason that JV is a friggin’ genius. Congrats again. Can’t wait to see how the jersey turns out!
A couple question some of you might know:
1) What are the requirements for a team member to wear their country’s version of the argyle kit?
2) Can you buy these jerseys?
Thanks,
Jack

Jamais deux sans trois. Another great ride Dan, well done.
greay win by dan and a great race very well organised.
Congrats Dan! What I can’t figure out is why the OCI and Cycling Ireland aren’t sending you to represent us in Beijing. You’re obviously in top form and from what I’ve read, the course would really suit you.
A fully deserved win. A great win for a great champion. Congratulations.
