The VMG/Felt U23 squad had a very strong showing in the opening stages of the Tour of Pennsylvania with Daniel Holloway leading the charge in the days two events. The race opened up with a 3.5 km prologue and three top 20 placings for the team. Daniel was the highest place rider in 10th, with Caleb Fairly finishing 12th and Peter Stetina 20th.
The VMG/Felt riders ruled the day’s second event, putting Daniel in perfect position for the sprint win. Said Ernest Holloway, “The boys took charge of the race with five miles to go keeping the pace high to prevent attacks. And Daniel delivered the Big W!” Daniel’s winning finish also earned him the event’s green points jersey.
