Hang in there and show them what you’re really made of, Tom. We’ve watched you shred the Tour de Georgia the past couple of years and we were really looking forward to doing likewise in the TdF. Here’s to next year- Good luck, God Bless, and Godspeed!

You and all your team mates represent the best in cycling! Ride strong. By the way, if you and a few of your team mates are off the weekend of September 6th, think about hoping over to CA for the Best Buddies Challenge at Hearst Castle, a charity ride from Carmel to San Simeon that supports special needs individuals and the intellectually challenge. There are going to be a lot of pros helping the cause from CSC and several other teams.

The best cure for disappointment are wins and podium finishes in the remaining 6 races–five here in the US. You are the only true Grand Tour GC rider on Garmin, so you need to get healthy and then ride yourself to success and show one and all the talent you have. Good luck, and prove in both what’s left of 2008 and then 2009 that you belong at the TdeF!!!
