Taking place in the southwestern region of Aquitaine that includes the Pyrénées, France’s Route du Sud often serves as a tune-up for those teams competing in the Tour de France. This year, the race includes a mountain time trial for the first time ever and also a four-mountain stage with a finish on Super Bagneres.
The opening stage of the 32nd edition of France’s Route du Sud is 206 km long and will give the riders a gradual introduction to the challenges ahead.
The stage is scheduled to start at 11:15 and finish between 16:02-16:16.
