Though Trent Lowe (right) and Dan Martin had solid top 20 finishes today, it was Tom Peterson who lit up stage 3 of the GP Correios. From the gun, Tom was in on virtually every breakaway that went, gaining gaps and then getting caught. And after all that intense effort, he still managed to finish with the second group back.
Trent and Dan maintained their GC standings and will be looking for opportunities to move up during tomorrow’s final rolling stage 4.
