Wish I could be there to eat a burrito with Maaskant, my personal cobblestone hero, although I already spoke with him in Roubaix. Any chance of revealing the riders for the Tour on this occasion?
Hope to be there. Need to ask the boss if it is OK to take a crazy early lunch. Will they be wrapping the new burrito in argyle-printed foil?
how much does Magnus weigh in racing form? I bet I am heavier, haha.
ps–they just opened a Chipotle restaurant in the town nextdoor, took the family there for opening weekend and mentioned the cycling team to the manager, took him awhile to register but he was aware of the sponsorship, hope they offer the TdF burrito here in Missouri too.
crikey, I take that back, wikipedia has him at 6′4″, 210 lbs!

Just came back from the event. Everybody was quite gracious and friendly. Oh… and btw: just order “le burrito” at any Chipotle during the Tour - that’s what they are calling it. Pretty tasty, chicken, black beans, cilantro rice, guacamole, etc. Nice little touch of heat at the end, too.
Sorry I missed you guys; couldn’t get away from the boss man. Was hoping to get a pic of the boys in Compeigne signed that I took at this year’s Roubaix start. Race hard!
We came from CT yesterday to this. Thanks to Slipsteam Sports, Chipotle and everyone associated with the event. Good burrito, good hospitality and good luck to the team in 2008!
We ate again at the new Chipotle in the St Louis area tonight, the fourth in town. The manager tonight had no clue about Le Burrito, though he was vaguely aware of the Slipstream-Chipotle cycling team. He said he would check into it though.
Stopped by the new Chipotle in West Des Moines tonight and asked for “the yellow jersey” burrito… they didn’t know what it was, but said they’d check into it and gave me my carnitas and barbacoa burritos for free! Thanks Chipotle & keep up the tweets JV!
