Giro stage 15Things start getting very pointy with stage 15. By far the most challenging stage of this year’s Giro, this 153 km day includes no less than six intense climbs as the race crosses the Dolomite mountains.

The fun starts from the gun with the 9.2 km Passo Pordoi (2239 m), and is immediately followed by the 11.8 km Passo San Pellegrino (1918 m) and the “lesser” San Tomaso Agordino (1082 m). Then things get really serious with the 9.8 km Passo di Giau (2236 m), the 10.3 km Passo Falzarego (2105 m), and finally the 13.35 km uphill finish on Passo Fedaia/Marmolaa (1059 m).

Stage 15 is scheduled to start at 12:35 and finish between 16:57-17:31.
