Well, I know it sounds cliche, but we did everything in our power today, no regrets. From start to finish, the team rode above and beyond their limits. I, for one, was more than impressed by the boys and their efforts. And I was humbled that I was the one that they were working for.
Alas, I came up short. One second in fact. But regrets? None. I could not have gone any faster today, the team couldn’t have riden any better.

Don´t worry!!, The team did all that you could and I think it´s enought.
I´m Spanish and I ride with a Felt bicycle too… but too much far from Girona (I live in Burgos)
Good luck for next stages!!!
Congrats on your Stage 1 victory. Read that David Zabriskie was taken to hospital after a crash today in Stage 2. I hope it’s nothing serious and he’s able to keep racing.
Keep it up! Good things will continue to happen.
After all it´s just a second
You made a great race! Congratulations to you and the whole team!
Dave, get well soon!
Congrats for your great TTT stage yesterday.
As for today, i think we all hope Dave gets well, best wishes to him on his recovery.
1 second is nothing there’s a lot of Giro to get the pink back, watch out for the Italians though, they won’t give up easy but i know u will do your best!
Way to go Slipstream - our thoughts and prays are with David!
Great job, fellas–please convey our best wishes for a quick recovery to Dave Z.

You rode a maglia rosa worthy defense today. You and the team have every right to be proud. It was great to see the team leading what will probably be the best pro peloton this year. Congrats!
Keep up the good work guys! Good luck and no more crashes for the upcoming stages.
I hope the Z-man is getting better soon..
CONGRATULATIONS to the Slipstream Team on their performance thus far and of course speedy get well to DZ.
Don’t worry to much about the jersey, only second stage. Slipstream killed it today, really, really great work today gentleman. Magnus, you led the last 40k, that was truly EPIC, so fast! Keep it up Slipstream!
chapeau! a fabulous ride, with passion and strategy. showed the team off spectacularly. won lots of deserved plaudits from phil ligget, and no doubt many fans for the team.
I hope Christian stays near the top of the GC. He could easily get the jersey back in the time trial on stage 10.
Hello from the Chicago suburbs!
It was so great to see you in pink today, Christian.
The team once again worked hard and did a good job.
It is a shame about David though… I hope he recovers quickly.
Congrats Christian on your day in the Maglia Rosa. Pink looks good on you.
And to Dave, get well soon. I enjoyed watching you race at Georgia and look forward to maybe seeing you race again in Missouri.
Christian:
Job well done!! You were magnificent in the Maglia Rosa!
No one more deserving than you, Christian. After yesterday, though, I must say that if you somehow get the maglia rosa back, Maggy deserves a piece of it. How many K’s did he pull on the front yesterday? Wow. This team is nothing less then inspirational. Thank you for riding.
