Timmy underwent surgery on his collarbone earlier today. He remains in stable condition in a Georgia hospital, where he will continue to recover.
Thank you all for your continued support. It means a lot to Timmy, his family, and the team’s riders and staff. We’ll keep you posted.
Pictured left is a Just Go Harder Foundation sticker that all the riders put on their seat posts to show their support for Timmy during his recovery. The Foundation is an effort of longtime friends Timmy Duggan and Ian MacGregor and is a non-profit organization that provides youth scholarships for budding cyclists and skiers.
Tom Danielson told Bicycling.com “We put that (Just Go Harder) on the back of our seat posts. So while we were hurting (in the TTT), we could see ‘just go harder’. And we did. We just went harder for Timmy.”

I’m glad Timmy was able to have the surgery, another step on the tough road back. He and his family and everyone at Slipstream are always in my thoughts, I know these days must be difficult, even when the news is good.
We’re hearing day after day from all the riders about what a great family this team is. There is a lightness and joy about you all that is wonderful to see. The closeness makes it that much harder when a family member goes down, but comes right around and gives you that much more strength to get through it. Just know we’re all rooting for you, on and off the road.
Wanted to send best wishes in support for Timmy - figured a huge GET WELL wish could be done as support of their organization! Go and donate on their site! Did yesterday, and bought some coffee. Wishing him well felt really good!
Get better Timmy!!!
Just so glad to hear that Timmy is doing so well. My thoughts go out to him and his family.
